The name
A True Story.
The company was incorporated as Lucian, Inc. in September 2026 as a subsidiary of UnitedWē Group. Its name is a tribute to the Greek satirist Lucian of Samosata and his work A True Story.
The work is the earliest known fiction to include travel to outer space, alien lifeforms and interplanetary warfare, and has been described as the first known text that could be called science fiction.
